I love treasure hunts both doing the hunting and organizing them, big or small.
Above is the plate for a $100 hunt I designed that took 1 year, 8 months to be solved. This "saucer" was one I earned at Raleigh's Flying Saucer bar after drinking my first 200 beers. I chose to put a local treasure hunt on it. It was solved by someone I dont know. "Paul" is $100 richer.

Below is the Idol of Xi coin I found on a scroll based treasure hunt that was suppose to be worth $100,000. The company conveniently went toes-up right about the time I found it. Yes, I sure could use that $100,000.
